Finding a Poem: Feast or Famine

Today, it was famine.  A dearth of false starts, and finally settling.  Although the poem about aging that I finally wrote is not all that bad.  Read it at: http://newsprintpoetry2012.blogspot.com/2012/08/upbeat-aging-live-to-100.html

Yesterday, it was feast.  I found four stories to use for the poem of the day.  It was hard to pick just one.  Here is one of the ones that I did not post.

Running

Running,
full-speed,
as fast as you can—
Exhilaration.

Running,
utterly pure,
just you alone—
Heart blessed.

Running,
close to flying,
strong and free—
Endorphin-infused joy.
